AND ON TO THING 8...!
In the word's of my good friend Garfield, I'm not always right. In this case, I was definitely wrong. I thought I would be bored to tears and yawns learning about RSS readers. This has by far been an awesome learning experience. Who would have thought that I'd actually find myself looking for the orange box on virtually every web page I visit? I didn't. That was until I learned a thing or two about RSS. It truly is really simple syndication. Bloglines has a really simple process for getting people to follow all their favorite blogs. I subscribed to a couple of different ones. As a matter of fact, I took this whole syndication thing a step further and swictched over to google reader. That's just as easy. And, a word we love, FREE! I have an email account with google so my information was already set up and waiting for me. I didn't even know it exsisted! And now I can't stop myself from checking it less than every hour. I've shared some information from some of the feed's I am subscribed to. Here is the url :
Have fun with it.
I can not stress how much fun this experience was. And to be honest, I thought the whole process about being able to read different types of news and stuff all at one site would be incrediblly boring. I'm not to proud to say I was wrong. I had fun!

Thanks for your great post about your experience with RSS. I just added it to the list of "Posts Worth Reading" on the Participants page, http://baltimorecountyparticipants.blogspot.com/.
I agree, RSS is likely to be a big feature for us in the next few months. By the way, I loved the panda picture at the top of your blog. Have you seen the sneezing baby panda video on YouTube. It's a riot. The mother panda's reaction is the best part.
I too chose to use Google reader for RSS feeds. I was truly daunted by the 12 page 23 Things instructions but once I discovered Google Reader I felt confident enough to proceed. Now I'm constantly looking at my BBC-World News feed!
